SPACE RENTAL at The laumeister art center
The Laumeister Art Center has multiple galleries, art studio spaces and a theater that are available to rent for performances, seminars and special events. Less than a mile from the center of town, restaurants or hotels are available at your disposal.
Lower Galleries Our lower galleries provide an intimate space in close proximity to the theater and restrooms and are perfect for receptions.
Our upper gallery is a bright space with excellent natural lighting and is suitable for luncheons, award ceremonies or galas.
Depending on the current setup, most galleries can accommodate 100 people seated in rows or 60 people seated at tables. The floor is carpeted, and the walls are hung with either a current exhibit or pieces from our permanent collection.
Tables and chairs can be provided by the art center.
The Laumeister Theater
This beautiful theater features 315 cloth pull-down seats, (212 on the ground floor and 103 in the balcony). There is ample back stage space, dressing rooms, concessions capability, and it is fully equipped with lights, sound and a projector. Renters must provide their own light and sound tech if needed.
The use of the front lobby is also included in this rental. No food or drink is allowed in the theater. The theater is currently home to a world-class Fazioli piano which may be used for an additional fee.
This studio space has multiple work spaces available with connections to power and can accommodate up to 30 people. It is outfitted with a brush cleaning station, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a separate entrance. This space is available for many different uses.

How to reserve Space
If you are interested in holding your event at the Laumeister Art Center, please fill out the rental request form below. A request may be approved or denied based on date availability, technical needs or special requirements and anticipated audience size.
If your request has been approved, a staff member will contact you to confirm event dates and times, and will email you a contract. All renters are required to schedule a walk-through of the requested space. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking. No contract is firm until deposit has been paid.
An additional $500 security deposit may be applied for all rentals. This may be paid via a check which will be destroyed post-event or via a credit card number that can be securely held. If the renter breaks or violates the terms of rental agreement/contract, this deposit or a portion thereof will be used to cover damage to the property, cleaning, etc.
